What should I expect in a session?
Our work will begin with an in-depth, in-person consultation where we’ll talk about your goals. I'll answer any questions you have about hypnosis, and we'll explore how responsive you are to suggestion. You’ll also leave with some simple relaxation or habit-based “homework” to help prepare for our first hypnosis session.
While in hypnosis, I may guide you through helpful imagery, memories, or future scenarios. You’re fully aware and in control, and together we'll shape the direction of the session based on what feels relevant and useful to you.
Once we’ve explored and established your desired outcome, I’ll use positive suggestions and cues to support the changes you’re ready to make. After gently bringing you back to full alertness, we’ll talk about your experience and outline any steps to take before we meet again.
Depending on the presenting issues, you should expect a treatment plan of between three to six sessions. But once they experience the benefits of hypnotherapy, some clients return again to explore other avenues of self-growth.
